Although we are part of a larger organization our digital bank team is small, nimble, and fast-paced. This culture provides an opportunity to think, invent and innovate in a complex financial space. You will work closely with user researchers, experience owners, product managers, and developers to drive a design process that works back from the customer.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for leading a team of Product Managers responsible for the Jenius mobile app and website, as well as the strategic leadership to drive the strategy of where Jenius will focus over the next 3-5 years to differentiate and become a leading digital bank within the US. As a digital bank, you will be accountable for developing the digital channel strategy that helps identify and solve where customer needs and business value intersect.

  • Accountable for leading the digital channels (mobile and web) to support Jenius Bank strategic agenda

  • Accountable for developing and maintaining the digital roadmap, including near term prioritization of capabilities to align with the product learning agenda

  • Growing and mentoring a team of Product managers to optimize outcomes with data (quantitative and qualitative) as the foundation of decision making

  • Establish business cases for the broader digital strategy and evangelize the digital strategy across Jenius Bank

  • Platforms and technologies (Make, build, buy decisions)

  • Partner with other senior leaders to establish an innovative culture across Jenius Bank with focus on customer centricity

  • Accountable for tracking and reporting of digital channel analytics (app store rating, JD power, etc), including an improvement plan

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ year of experience in Product Management, Technology and/or Business Analysis.

  • 3+ years of direct leadership and mentoring of Product Managers

  • Demonstrated experience with leveraging data to establish learning agendas that drive progress toward achieving and exceeding OKRs.

  • Experience leading cross functional teams through decision-making to achieve optimized outcomes.

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in specializing in digital channels and/or product innovation preferred.

  • Innovative mindset. Experience with design thinking and/or job to be done methodologies, including implementation into a software delivery plan.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of implications, both positive and negative, that the digital experience can have on product P&Ls

  • Working knowledge of web / native app technology stacks and vendors.

  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment, including navigating the constraints to achieve results while maintaining compliance.
