Position Overview: As a Medical Assistant at Michigan Medical, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals across various shifts. This position requires individuals who have proof of immunizations and a current flu vaccine before starting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in routine clinical and administrative tasks.
• Take vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Administer injections and medications as directed.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Perform basic laboratory tests.
• Record patient information in electronic health records.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain medical records.
• Provide assistance in maintaining a clean and organized medical environment.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant.
• Proof of immunizations and a current flu vaccine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
