Charles Schwab Sr Specialist - Software Development & Engineering in Austin, Texas

Duties: Evaluates complex user requests, projects, and clarifies objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs. Improves/sustains embedded system software using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. Conducts and prepares feasibility studies for new applications and/or existing ones and makes decisions within general parameters under little supervision. Works closely with business partners to realize the full capabilities of CRM Salesforce. Contributes to all technical aspects of projects developed. Performs detailed analysis of business and technical requirements. Writes technical approaches and designs documentation supporting business needs. Creates development and integration plans. Participates in technical discussions and workshops with client. Understands Integration and Migration concepts and Salesforce APIs.

Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Austin, Texas.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $125,719 to $160,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or related field plus 3 years of related experience.

Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Salesforce Sales Cloud and implementing Salesforce UI on Lightning; Salesforce Configuration, Workflow, Triggers, Visualforce, and Apex coding; Integrations, performance optimization and source code editors using REST callouts, SOQL, and Visual Studio Code; Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, version control tools, or similar; and Informatica integration, Source tree, Silverlight, or Eclipse IDE.
