Kuehne+Nagel Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland

Would you like to launch your career with one of the most successful logistics organizations worldwide? Here at Kuehne+Nagel, our Baltimore, MD branch is looking for a new Customer Care Specialist to join our Sea Logistics freight forwarding team.

Your Role

Reporting to the Sea Logistics Customer Care Manager, you will support our customers by providing helpful information, and providing solutions on a timely basis regarding our customers’ concerns and questions. You will be the customer advocate for both our US Operational Care Center and our overseas Customer Care Locations to help ensure that customers’ Customer Satisfaction Promise is fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will provide proactive consultancy to our clients, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Support customer development & maintenance

  • You will collaborate management, Sea Logistics operations (Operational Care Center), and sales to ensure we are providing an enhanced customer experience.

  • You will be involved in Financial Excellence & Development to monitor revenue versus costs.

  • You will also provide Kuehne+Nagel price quotations and updates, setting the final selling price with individual adjustments

  • You will be responsible for integrating and maintaining customer data into Kuehne+Nagel systems.

  • This Establish and build Customer relationships while supporting the Kuehne+Nagel Sales team.

  • Reporting (refining and reviewing Customer requested reports generated from Kuehne+Nagel Systems)

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 3+ years’ experience in freight forwarding.

  • 1+ years’ experience in Customer Service.

  • You have excellent communication skills.

  • You have the ability to travel to Detroit, MI for New Hire Training your second week of employment.

  • You have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • You possess the desire for continued professional growth.
