OVERVIEW

UES, a Blue Halo Company is seeking a Software Engineer with a diverse set of programming experience to join our team working at the Air Force Research Lab in Dayton, OH

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Software Engineer will manage and develop web-based and independent graphical user interfaces along with back-end image analytics software and data management protocols to support product development activities. Experience with containerization technologies (SQL and non-SQL), database architectures and data governance are required. The successful candidate may work with the DoD Super Computing Resource Center for data processing and management as project needs warrant. Data visualization tools will be developed and implemented to meet product development needs. The candidate will also work with statisticians and informatics experts to automate and implement analysis algorithms into the graphical user interface and back-end pipeline infrastructure. The incumbent will possess significant flexibility to potentially support multiple project efforts simultaneously.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

• Minimum BS in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of experience
• Experience with database architecture and GUI development
• Front-end development experience.
• This position is working within a government facility and requires U.S. Citizenship

Additional Experience Preferred:

• Prior work/experience designing software for a research environment
• Expertise with python, javascript, or comparable software.
• Project management
• Proficiency in technical writing and presentations
