Responsibilities
Position information:
This position is a dual role of Nursing Supervisor and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator. Hours per pay period will be 80 hours (Nursing Supervisor shifts worked are 12 hour shifts (2 per week) and remaining hours will be spent in the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator role working two 8 hours shifts per week.
Description of Nursing Supervisor responsibilities:
Directly responsible for the coordination and collaboration of all services to meet the needs of the customers of the Hospital in the absence of other administrative personnel.
Description of Emergency Preparedness Coordinator responsibilities:
Responsible for pre-hospital care and facility emergency response oversight and liaison activities for performance improvement.
Assures management of staff, equipment and other resources in a cost effective manner to deliver care complaint with regulatory agencies and hospital policies and procedures.
Accountable for the operations of the Base Station, Emergency Management (EM) programs that have department, facility, and regional scope and impact.
Plans, organizes, administers and evaluates activities, exercises/drills, staff, policy and procedures, projects to ensure appropriate response to natural or intentional events which threaten personal health and safety.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, leadership or other healthcare field.
Two years leader experience (with at least one year supervising in an Emergency Department or Emergency Management)
Two years work experience as an ED RN or MICN RN
Ability to facilitate small and large group problemsolving and task completion
Knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC), State and Federal regulations.
California RN license
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
MICN certification
PALS certification
Master's degree
Pay Range
$65.22 - $84.26 /hour
