The department of Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Mail Clerk 2 to work at UHealth. The Senior Mail Clerk collects, processes and distributes incoming and outgoing mail ensuring confidentiality and appropriate postage and handling for all mail. He/she also guides the work of lower level mail clerks.

• Responsible for picking up incoming mail from the USPS as assigned.

• Responsible for delivering outgoing mail to the USPS as assigned.

• Delivers documents, packages, and/or messages to their destination.

• Plans and follows the most efficient routes for delivering goods.

• Obtains signatures for pertinent information upon delivery.

• Maintains records of items received and delivered, as well as the recipient.

• Remains accessible at all times via telephone, email, or pager.

• Assists in training Mail Clerks as assigned by the Mail Services Manager.

• Answers the phone to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

• Escalates any problems or issues to the Mail Services Manager for resolution.

• Assists lower level mail clerks with day-to-day tasks, and assists with general training when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
