Position Description:
Assist the Payroll Department in delivering the highest level of accuracy and customer service that our clients expect.
This is a full-time role that requires you to alternate being in the office (Melville, NY) 5 days a week one week and 3 days a week, 2 remote the following week. Salary is up to $50,000.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Liaise with Payroll Specialists
Payroll processing quality control
Assist with report requests (Client and Employee)
Year End requests (W-2 reprints, etc.)
Liaise with Payroll Distribution
Print and prepare payroll checks and reports for distribution
Backup Distribution Coordinator as needed
Assist with Employee Changes
Review and approve Pay Rate Changes, coordinating with the Payroll Specialist for additional feedback regarding any pay decreases
Review and approve Terminations
Assist with additional payroll department tasks
Weekly audit of garnishment checks
Complete, verify, and process forms and documentation for wage garnishments. Notify the employee and enter into our CRM system for the Payroll Specialist to enter.
Review and respond to Verification of Employment inquiries, including the Benefits Specialist if needed
Experience : Entry Level, will train
