Provide technology vision and leadership to the organization by developing and implementing communications and information technology (IT) and telephony initiatives and plans that improve the organizations effectiveness. Provide strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the telephony and information technology systems in order to ensure timely access to meaningful data with which to make critical business decisions. Evaluate new software and hardware to determine usefulness and compatibility with existing software and hardware. Meet to discuss progress of work, resolve problem, and ensure that standards for quality and quantity of work are met. Provide administration support for staff, including troubleshooting. Provide desktop support through remote assistance for multiple locations. Maintain overall understanding of business requirements, change, practices, and technologies. Meet with users to determine quality of service and identify needs and to determine impact of proposed changes in hardware or software on computer operations and service to users. Perform daily maintenance of servers. Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2 years of software development experience.
